Kajian Teologis tentang Perceraian pada Frasa “Kecuali Karena Zinah” Menurut Injil Matius 19:9

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan makna frasa “kecuali karena zinah” dalam Matius 19:9 melalui pendekatan teologis-eksegetis. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari meningkatnya angka perceraian di kalangan Kristen dan semakin luasnya penggunaan frasa tersebut sebagai dasar pembenaran perceraian. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis hermeneutik, historis, kontekstual, verbal, dan teologis terhadap teks Matius 19:9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frasa “kecuali karena zinah” tidak dimaksudkan Yesus sebagai legitimasi perceraian dalam pernikahan Kristen, melainkan sebagai koreksi terhadap pandangan Hilel yang permisif. Yesus menegaskan kembali desain awal pernikahan sebagai perjanjian ilahi yang tidak boleh diceraikan manusia. Pemahaman ini memberikan kontribusi teologis penting bagi gereja untuk menegakkan kembali kesucian pernikahan.
